This worked out well for me. From what is stated on AuthenTec's website thay may provide suthentec updated drivers to the vendor, HP in this case.

Yes, hardware support included is better than Vista, and Vista was better than XP, etc, but it's only because the drivers for third party products have been supplied TO Microsoft! So is this the problem and what to do now? On this particular issue, you saw that Rolando contacted Authentec - without result!
Then tell HP exactly how you feel since they are responsivle for the hardware they sell!

The fingerprint reader drivers zes2501 with Windows 7. Thursday, January 21, 9: Didn't find what you were looking for? Why haven't you contacted Authentec Support and asked them about updated drivers?
